[He's quiet for a moment before answering as he figures out how he wants to answer. It's not all that surprising—that Riku would say it or that Kairi would believe it. But what does he believe?]

I didn't think he would. Unless he thought he had to.

[And Roxasis still pretty sure that if Riku thinks it's necessary, he will.

Well. He can try.]

[ Aaah ... Well, she can't say much about that. Except ... ]

Well ... I don't think that he thinks he has to.

[ For what it's worth. At least not right now. Sora's okay, and that's good enough. ]

I didn't disappear when we met before, so...probably not.

[Was it something about the data world that had made it so much easier to fade back into Sora? Or was it simple physical proximity that had done it, and it's the porter that pulled them apart and is keeping them that way? It's a scary thought.]

... Yeah. I think it'll be okay.

[ She can only assume it will. She doesn't know the specifics of all this stuff, but everything seems fine, so she has no problem with getting her own hopes up and assuming things will work out okay.

But also. ]

And ... about Sora? He's really upset, Roxas.

[ He should probably know why. She's not sure what telling Roxas this will do for him, but ... she can try, right? Aside from giving away Roxas's secret location, this is the next best thing she can do. ]

[None of this is Roxas' favorite thing to talk about, but Kairi's easy to talk to, and it seems like it's going okay anyway. Until she says that.

He's quiet for a moment.]

You should probably spend some time with him, then. He'd feel better.

[ That is ... not at all what she was hoping he would say. ]

I think he'd feel better ... if he talked to you. You both might.

[ Because maybe then, Roxas would feel a little less dislike for Sora. He's a good kid, all a person really needs to do is talk to him a little and it's hard to hate him. At least, that's how Kairi feels. ]

[He knows.]

I don't think that would really help.

[Help him? Help Sora? Does it make a difference?]

[ Ah ... Her expression drops a little when he says that. ]

Well, I won't force you to. [ To talk. Even if she still thinks it might help, if Roxas isn't up for it, there's really nothing she can do. It's his decision. ]

Either way ... Thanks for talking to me, Roxas.

[ He may not want to talk to Riku or Sora, but the fact that he's talking to her makes her glad. ]

[She couldn't and they both know it. But he gets it.

He's sorry that this has to make her feel sad.]
