[There is a brief pause once the recording starts, as Eraqus considers his NV device. He's finally getting the hang of using it, it seems. Finally:]

..I believe an apology is owed to you.

I would like to do so in person, though I understand if you would prefer otherwise. I leave the decision in your hands.

[He listens to it a couple of times before replying. It's not that he didn't expect this eventually, or that he doesn't want to deal with it, but he can't deny it brings back some very intimidating memories.]

[The line rings several times; apparently this call back came sooner than Eraqus expected.]

[As if he couldn't tell. Ven would just come down the hall, not call him with an NV.]

[True. Then again, MasterDad does need the NV practice. There's still a slight intake of breath before Eraqus replies, though.]
