And how was I supposed to know that it wasn't one of the Organization members there to spy on me? No one told me anything, made me paranoid that they were keeping an eye on me for some weird plot again. You were gonna get Joe to lie for you! Hey, I know it's been like...unbearably hot and all. I'm not really using my apartment right now so there's two bedrooms and a couch, it gets a bit of a cool breeze if you open all the windows because the ocean is cool. Plus it's like five minutes down to the water and I've got a bunch of beach stuff.

Don't got an air conditioner but I've got a swamp cooler that should help during the hot parts. You all can use it while I'm gone, if you want.

Leon's the only one there with Hikaru and Ebony.

Actually, it's not that bad...we froze the couch, so that helped. And me and Xion and Axel are kind of used to it. It was worse in Agrabah.

I guess so. It's been 8 days since I've heard from him. What if...he's just gone?

He wouldn't leave you behind. Even if it wasn't his doing, he'd find a way to stay.

Not really sure how he could find a way to stay. I mean, we didn't get a choice in being dragged here so I think leaving is the same way. Sometimes, that's just the way it works.

There's nothing that says he's gone yet. His NV still works, even if he's not answering. He's your best friend! If you don't believe in him, who else is going to? Come on.

I do believe in him, but that covers the fact that I believe he could get out of here and find someone who could get everyone who wants to leave out of here. [The faint sound of clinking glass.] I believe that all the stuff Cohen said means it isn't really Riku. That he wasn't taken by either of the companies, that he's really good at hiding when he wants to and can survive any situation no matter how tough it gets.

But even Riku knows that he could leave here at any minute, we even talked about it.

Yeah, people can leave. But not everyone does. It doesn't make sense to just give up unless there's a reason.

[No devil water...just extremely tired, hot and exhausted. Also, cleaning up a mess he made in Riku's apartment yesterday in a reckless search of his SERO stuff - broken glass must not be walked on. C'mon man, it's a bad time for Riku to go missing in this heat. May not be as bad as Agrabah but Sora's got good reasons for being extremely concerned. Besides, even though Riku said he was okay with staying Sora has mixed feelings about it.]

Now I never said I was giving up. I could never give up on looking for Riku. Even if Riku did end up leaving you can bet your Keyblade that I'd still look for him. I'm just sayin' that it's a possibility.
